Mrs. Margaret Schmidt of Downingtown, PA is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Miss Kathryn Schmidt, to Mr. Daniel Cole, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cole of Pen Argyl, PA. Miss Kathryn Schmidt is also the daughter of the late George Schmidt.

Kathryn is a 2006 graduate of West Chester University and is currently pursuing certification in Elementary Education at West Chester University as a graduate student. Daniel is a 2006 graduate of Bloomsburg University and is employed by Vanguard in Malvern, PA.

The wedding is being planned for June 4, 2011.
